Ghosts On Tour - 2006 - Day 4 (October 2)

Our secondary reason for going on holidays was to see Oktoberfest. The good news is that we managed to do this today. The bad news is that Oktoberfest starts in September and finishes in October. Crazy Germans... ;-)

Almost everyone in Munich rides bikes around. Not serious riders like we find in Perth - we saw women in long dresses and men in suits riding their bikes around at all hours. But because the city is so flat and access to the extensive public transporation system is very easy, you find bikes being ridden everywhere and chained up everywhere else.

This bike is chained, but why?

Eva and Christian took us to Oktoberfest. We sat outside a beer tent, had lunch and more beer and then headed onto the amusement rides.
