Ghosts On Tour - 2006 - Day 3 (October 1)

After our long flight from Hong Kong to Frankfurt (via Heathrow) we caught the train from the Frankfurt main train station to Munich.

These first photos are of the train station. Some are a bit blurry because we didn't use the flash on the camera.

The ICE (Intercity Express Trains) in Germany are sexy - fast, smooth, comfortable and services between major cities are very regular. The top speed we saw was 260 km/h.

And so was this

Anna's aunt and uncle (Eva and Christian) met us in Munich, we dropped our stuff off at our pension and headed out for lunch. Lunch was fantastic - a good introduction to Munich beer and local foods. Yum. A sign of things to come.
