Andechs is a monastery renowned for it's excellent beer and food. We parked about two or three kilometres away and wlaked there through the forest. The walk was very easy except for the few hundred steps at the end where you need to walk down into the valley and back up again. These steps were much more difficult after many excellent beers.
After that, we headed back into Munich and went to a market (the Auer Dult) near Eva and Christian's place and had a bit of a wander.
At the end of the day we joined Eva and Christian for dinner at Christian's favourite restaurant (Brenner), which is inside what used to be the stables for the palace. As we expected from Christian, it was excellent.
