Deep in my distant past I was a coder - once I'd tired of that (after about 18 months) I got into supporting networks, the various operating systems that run them and the hardware behind that.

But, I still do a little bit of coding here and there. C, assembler (when necessary) and Perl are the current favourites with some shell scripts and a bit of VBScript thrown in for good measure.

Anyway, I've been busy at work (and no time to write any new rants) and have been doing some tweaks to the West Coast 4x4 site as well as creating a very simple site for the Crossing Crew.

One day, I might actually be a programmers elbow.
