Brettski's Random Stuff...
Really, truly - this is random stuff. I post some pictures and have the occassional rant about things that I'm interested in. Hope you enjoy...
Osborne Park Intervals January 20, 2009

According to the posted training schedule, today was intervals in Mosman Park. I don't mind that so much - it is a nice course with few cars and a hard climb at the end.

But, due to the upcoming Perth Crit Series, Anna wanted to do some secret squirrel training with Lisa so we headed out to Osborne Park to practice.

The circuit there is flat and quite safe with only one corner where you need to watch out for cars. We did a bunch of intervals - mainly simulated attacks leading up to some sharp(ish) corners. I found out that 55 km/h is a slightly too fast entry speed and had to back off a little a couple of times. Plus, with the current imposition of daylight savings it was quite dark for the first half of our session and that makes it tricky to pick out the entry point for corners.
