Overall we did about 120 km. Highlights include a new PB on the bike - 84.5 km/h and a nice sprint along Mounts Bay Rd at about 55 km/h.
Today we headed out to Yanchep again. Unlike last time there were no incidents with drivers nor flat tyres. Other than a small mechanical fault with Anna's bike we were all good. All up, the distance was around 130 km.
I was feeling a little special at the start because Anna and I had dinner at Opus last night. We had the degustation menu and it was amazingly good. However, in order to appreciate it I chose to have the six glasses of wine (seven if you include the dessert wine) with it. Therefore, this morning was a little hard and I didn't hit my stride on the bike until just before we got to Yanchep. Things improved from there.
This week we have interval training in Kings Park and Shenton Park followed by a 150 km ride on Saturday. If I'm not totally tired from that I'm considering going out for the SPR hills ride on Sunday. And then a week of afternoon naps.
